  • Ian Mills

    DIRECTOR

    Ian is a senior business and insights leader who helps organisations make better decisions through sharp strategy, practical analysis, and clear storytelling. He provides senior-level management, insights, and support to organisations that need extra capability at key moments, bringing deep experience across insights and stakeholder engagement, helping leaders move from uncertainty to focused, evidence-based action.

    He has extensive networks and uses these to help ensure that clients are getting the best of local and global knowledge.

    Ian is a Fellow of the Research Association of New Zealand and the current association Chair.

  • Maria Tyrrell

    SENIOR ASSOCIATE

    Maria is a senior insights and brand strategy leader with 30 years of experience helping organisations turn research into results. She brings deep expertise across geographies and categories, with a track record working on global brands including Diageo, Unilever, Coca-Cola, and Fonterra.

    Her background includes senior leadership roles at Kantar as Global Director of Brand Strategy and as Managing Director of NeedScope International. She works at C-suite level, helping leaders translate insights into focused, evidence-based action.

    Maria's contribution to the industry has been recognised through her Life Membership of the Research Association of New Zealand.

  • Kay Bramley

    SENIOR ASSOCIATE

    Kay is a consumer insights professional with deep experience in the FMCG sector. Her career spans senior roles at iconic New Zealand food companies, including Goodman Fielder, Foodstuffs, and Cadbury, alongside leading market research agencies. She also brings experience across the public and tertiary education sectors.

    Kay has a strong interest in insights ethics, and how AI and emerging technologies are reshaping the insights landscape, and takes a practical, hands-on approach to new techniques where they deliver real value for the organisations she works with.
